The earth is circled with arcs that show international routes with the largest amount of transmission capacity dedicated to Internet services in 2000. Arcs are color coded by bandwidth, with red assigned to the paths having the highest capacity. International routes include over seventy paths between cities that had bandwidth of at least 400 Mbps. The largest route is London - New York with over 26,500 Mbps, followed by London - Paris with over 24,000 Mbps.
