HOW TO SHOP ONLINE

Welcome to the wonderful and convenient world of online shopping! Online shopping is just like regular shopping that you're already familar with. You look around, find the item that you want to buy, place the item in your shopping basket, and when you're done selecting items, you go to the checkout station. Checkout is where you'll tell us where to ship the items, and pay for them by entering your payment information. Hence, the steps are just like what you already know!



Shopping basket?

The "shopping basket" is really just a list of the items that you've selected to buy. We keep the list for you and you can see it by clicking on "Basket" at the top of any screen. You can also remove items from your basket if you change your mind, or even change the number of each item in your basket.

Our store is arranged very much like any real store that you've visited. There is an "entrance", or "store front" that you have already found. You can return to the store front from anywhere in the store by clicking on the word "Home" that is at the top of every screen.

How do I find products?

Our "Categories" are much like aisles in your regular store, where different types of products are displayed in each aisle. The categories are listed on the left side of each screen (look for "Our Products" right now in the blue area at the left of the screen - you may have to scroll up a little to see it). Those are our categories, or product "aisles". Just click on a category name to go to that category of products. The category screen displays all of the products available in that category. For each product, it's name, price, whether it's in stock or not, and a small picture are displayed.

That's nice but I want to know about the product!

Just as you would pick up and examine a product in a real store, you can click on a product on the category page to see a much more detailed description of the product and a larger picture. The picture at right shows an item on the category page. There are 3 different places you can click to see the detailed product description page. After examining a product, use the BACK button on your browser to return to the same category page, or you can click on a completely different category in the list at left.

I found a good product, now what?

After examining the detailed product description, you may decide that you want to buy the product. Before you can buy it, you need to add it to your "shopping basket". You'll see an "Add" button on the product page (see example at right). Just click on the button to add the item to your shopping basket. Note that you haven't bought the product yet, it is only in your shopping basket. To see what you've placed in your shopping basket at any time, click on "Basket" at the top of any screen.

I put items in my basket, am I done?

When you've finished making your selections, you need to go to the "Checkout" screens to complete the actual purchase of your products. The words "Secure Checkout" are at the top right corner of each screen (scroll up to the top of this screen now to find the "Secure Checkout" button). Just click on the "Secure Checkout" button to start the checkout process.

Tell me about this "checkout" process

During the checkout process, you'll enter your name and address for billing purposes, the name and address where you want the purchase delivered (if different from your own address), the method you want for delivery of the purchase, and your credit card information. Once you've completed the checkout, you've bought the items and we'll prepare them for shipment to you.

It's that simple?

That's all there is to it! It really is very much like a real store. A few days later, your purchase arrives at your door and you've saved a lot of time and gasoline...

Just remember, it's as easy as 1 - 2 - 3:

1. Select a category and examine the products.
2. Add the item to your shopping basket.
3. When you're all done, click on Checkout to actually buy the products.
