FRONT STREET, UP THE HILL: 1975
This view of Glencoe family homes is looking east, on Front Street, up the hill from the mill building. The main mill building is at the foot of the hill and Glencoe Baptist Church is at the top of the hill. Although the road is paved now, this road was dirt and mud for most of its existence.
There are two residential roads in Glencoe, Front Street and Back Street. Both roads run up the hill to the east away from the mill buildings.
