MINUTES OF BUSINESS MEETINGS

July 9, 1933

The church was called together in a special Conference Sunday morning July 9, 1933 after the Sunday school hour. Business was as follows.

1. Scripture, 14th chapter of Joshua by R. A. Wilson.

2. Prayer by C. F. Phillips

3. Moved and carried to appoint a pulpit committee to serve or look for a preacher. Those appointed - Artinsy Murray, Chas. Hurley, Mr J. R. Allen.

4. Question of financing pastor decided. 19 members present made pledges to give certain amounts a week.

5. Motion & adjourn.


Oct 1, 1933

The Glencoe Baptist Church was called to conference to elect officers of the Sunday School and church. The meeting was called to order by the chairman.

The Board of Deacons met at the church, consisting of J. R. Allen, Jim Allen, Joe Tickle, Chas. Hurley & C. F. Phillips.

The following items of business was voted on. The matter of Pastors salary. Reminded we pay 200.00 per year and 100.00 to Missions objects also recomend that the ch proceed with arrangement for ordination as pastor.


Oct 22, 1933

The canidates of the Glencoe Baptist Church who were to be Babtised went to the Burlington B. C. to be Babtised. They were as follows.
