Aug 17, 1930
After preaching the pastor called the church in conference this being the reg. quartly conference.
1. MInutes of the last conference was read and adopted.
2. Bro Ernest Murray the Building Fund Treas. reported he had paid another $1.25 on the Dept. leaving a bal due of $175.00.

Sept 7, 1930
On Sunday night Sept 7, 1930 the Glencoe Baptist Church met in a worship service for the purpose of dedicating the Baptistry pool, which had just lately been completed, and for baptizing the candidates who joined the church in the recent meeting.
The pastor T. Rupert Coleman read passages of scripture and led in prayer after which he spoke briefly on dedicating ours the Lord, after which he offered a dedicatorial prayer to the Lord. Following this he Baptized into the Fellowship of the Lord Jesus Christ and the Glencoe Baptist Church the following:
Walter Wilson, Banks Hurley, Chas Hurley, Minnie Hurley, Marshall Hurley, Pearl Phillips, Opal Phillips, Ruth Phillips, Omie Page, Merita Page, Corina Page, Hallie McCauley, Mildred McKinney, Pauline Roney, Paul Faucette, Curtis Roney, Vergil Ashworth, Pattie Bright, Thomas Bright, Mollie Bright, Bessie Small, Gratton Bartts, Sarah Francis Roney, Ada Bell Marshall, Edna Small, making a total of 25.

Sept 22, 1930
The pastor preached two services today 11 and 730 . After preaching the church and pastor gave the right hand of Fellowship and welcome to the above new members. Also the lords supper was celebrated at this time and the pastor appointed the following as a committe to nominate a Supt. - Ernest Murray, Fay Murray, C. F. Phillips.
Sept 28, 1930
The above committe nominated Bro G. L. Murray as supt. A vote was called for and he was duly elected.
The same board of Trustees was relected - Joe Tickle, C. F. Phillips, Nathan Pennington. Church Treasure - Miss Artinsy Murray.
It was voted that the women meet once each week (Thu night) and clean the church and the men do the ringing the bell and building the fires in order to save the janitor fee as the church is not able to pay it at this time for the mill has not run any in 9 weeks.
A vote was taken on the question of making a pledge to help pay for the association field worker (Bro M. L. Jones) for the next year. After the ballott it was ordered not to be done.
The pastor called for the clerk to read the letter to the Association and after hearing the reading it was ordered accepted as read.
The church had a very good year in all its work. The pastor Baptized 26 into the church membership and raised $65525 for all purposes. The Sunday School had an average of 120 for the whole year 1929/1930. The church is worth at this time $7700.00.

After Service the pastor called the church in
specialannual conference and the following business was transacted.The pastor called for the report of the nomanating committe. Sister Fay Murray read the names of the officers and teachers for the year 1930/1931 - namely

Oct 18, 1930
The Board of Deacons met at the home of Bro C. F. Phillips. The pastor was present and opened the meeting with a prayer by Bro J. R. Allen and called for any business that needed to come.
A motion to withdraw fellowship from Sister Bertha McCauley at her own request to the pastor by letter. The motion was seconded and duly voted on and was ordered done.
After attending the assocation and seeing how all the churches looked on the question of the field worker, Bro M. L. Jones, the pastor felt that for the best intrest of the church he felt his duty to act for the church and cooperate after seeing Bro Knight and geting the sum down to $6.00 instead of $12.00. Was so ordered recomended to the church.
A motion to have the clerk order 75 sets of envelopes from the cheapest place and way. So ordered and Bro C. F. Phillips to pay $5.00 of the rent money to help pay for them. So ordered.
Bro W. J. Johnson was recomended to teach the Mens Bible Class. So ordered.

After preaching the pastor called the church in regular conference and all of the recomendations made by the Board was accepted and so ordered by vote of those present.

Nov 16, 1930
Today is the third Sunday in Nov - the pastor is present. It is a very rainy day. We had 109 in Sunday School. The pastor preached a good sermon but was sick and after preaching the church voted to excuse him of preaching at 8 oclock so he can go home before night.
