CORRESPONDENCE - RESIGNATION OF JAMES H. HOLT

 Resignation

 

James Henry Holt Jr. was the son of James Henry and Laura Cameron Moore Holt Sr., and a brother of Robert L. Holt. He served his apprenticeship as a cotton manufacturer at Glencoe Mills. He and brother Robert built the Windsor Cotton Mills in Burlington in 1890. James Jr. was secretary, treasurer, and vice president of the Elmira mills, and secretary and treasuer of the Lakeside mills. He was also a vice president and director at Glencoe Mills, where he tendered his resignation in 1926.
